2025 Hastings Jingle & Mingle Gingerbread House Competition

Rules:
1. This contest is open to all interested individuals and groups.
2. Entry forms must be submitted by Friday, November 21, 2025. They may be submitted on the hastingsjingleandmingle.com website or by email to Hastings.Jingle.Mingle.2016@gmail.com
3. The base of all entries may not be bigger than 12" x 12". It may be smaller. The base must be sturdy enough to support the structure. No decorations, icing or anything else may cause the base to exceed the 12" x 12" size limit.
4. Gingerbread "houses" may be other structures, for example: barns, birdhouses, lighthouses or any other imaginative dwellings.
5. Everything used on the structure must be edible, although lollipops with inedible sticks may be used.
6. Styrofoam or other inedible support materials are not permitted.
7. Structures may be illuminated from the inside.
8. Entries must be delivered to the Hastings Public Library between Friday, November 28th 9:00 a.m. and Monday, December 1st 8:00 p.m.
9. Entries must be picked up from the Library on Wednesday, December 10th by 8:00 p.m.
10. The Jingle & Mingle committee reserves the right to refuse any entry deemed inappropriate.
11. Submission of any entry constitutes permission to use entrant's name and entry photo for purposes of marketing and promotion on behalf of the Hastings Jingle & Mingle committee.
Categories & Prizes

1. Each division, adult and youth, will be voted on in four categories:
- Most colorful
- Most realistic
- Most festive
- Most imaginative
2. The winner of each category in each division will receive a ribbon, certificate and $10.00 in Barry Bucks.
3. Winners will be determined by public voting done in person at the Hastings Public Library. Voting will take place when the library is open staring December 2nd until December 6th at 3:00 p.m.
